This is, to me, a very unique smoke.
It has a perfect burn and good draw a little on the tight side. This stick burned forever for me. I usually smoke them kind of quick, and this thing took me nearly 2 hours.
The smoke starts off with a very light flavor and very moderate smoke production. I get a lot of mineral and black tea flavor in the first half, that then morphs into more of a candy spice in place of the mineral, with the black tea holding it's own against a growing flavor of black pepper. Much milder smoke in terms of both flavor and strength than I expected. The very light beginning ends off being a more medium smoke after the first inch.
I have to say that this is not really my flavor profile, but it is complex, interesting, and truly a fine cigar if you do like the lighter grassy flavors.
