Received my first Stogiebird shipment. 5 cigar subscription. The first selection I decided to smoke was the Defuser by The Alpha Cigar Company. Honest, during the smoke it was a straightforward, a not too complex smoke. But towards the end, the complexity grew and the flavor was more layered and creamy. It was a smoke that improved as it went and I did not give this cigar enough credit. The next day I said to myself, that Defuser was a good smoke! One that I would definitely recommend and smoke again and again. So, looking forward to the next cigar in the shipment. Thank you Stogiebird!

So, new to Stogiebird and I received my first shipment about 10 days ago. I have started with the S5 subscription. So far, I have had smoked the Defuser and the Cabreras. I will start with the Defuser... At first and throughout the first half or so, it was a straightforward cigar - not layered, not much complexity, etc. But as the smoke continued, it was rich and smooth. The construction was spot on as well. I finished the cigar and was very impressed. I woke the up the next day, and was just WOWED! It was a really fantastic cigar! Paired this cigar with a NEIPA - Lazy Hazy Housy from Great Falls Brewing. A few nights later, I decided to smoke the Cabreras. Prelight smell was rich tobacco and sharp. This cigar was great from start to finish. The cigar produced lots of smoke, was easy to smoke and delicious throughout. It was rich, creamy, and smooth. I was so impressed with this cigar that I hope one will be on the next shipment. Paired this cigar with a Cascadia Farewell West Coach IPA. The rich, creamy cigar paired so well with the hoppiness of beer. Another great cigar!
